We told you earlier that Bet9ja was hacked by some group of Russian Hackers, well, its more like Bet9ja has won the battle as their website is now back online and fully functional for the day to day betting activities, what’s more, they are giving free N1000 to everyone.
This good news of Bet9ja recovery from the Cyber attack was contained on the official statement made by the CEO and Co founder of the Company Mr Ayo Ojuroye.
The CEO assured the customers that their personal data and funds are all intact and nothing was compromised even after the cyber attack.
Confirmation from our tech team revealed that the Bet9ja site is back and the funds in the account are intact.
The statement read in full:
“The past few days have been challenging for us as a business. In the early hours of Wednesday, April 6, 2022 we suffered an unprovoked and unjustified sophisticated criminal cyber-attack on our platform.

We can confirm that the ransomware attack came from the Blackcat Group. You can find information about the cyber criminal organisation online.

We had no information as whether the company paid the requested ransom by the hackers or were able to use their security team to combat the attack.
