Airtel is giving out free compensation data to her esteem subscribers, have you gotten yours? read this post to find out why and how to check if you’re among the compensated customers
One of the prominent Mobile Network in Africa “Airtel” is compensating her subscriber with free data subscription for disruption of internet service on the special day of the Eid-el Kabir Celebration In Nigeria, this network disruption was so bad that subscribers can’t make use of the internet, nor use the network USSD code to check their account balance or data balance, this network disruption lasted for at least 7 hours, the angry subscribers who are so pissed had to take to Twitter, they laid a complaint full replies on the Airtel Nigeria Twitters handle particularly on their “happy EID El Kabir” twit, as seen on the screenshot below.
The replies sent a red signal to the airtel network admins, to cut the long story short, the network glitch was later fixed, Airtel had to apologize on their Twitter handle with the Twit below,
The angry subscribers, seems not to be convinced with the apology twit, most of them replied the twit compelling the mobile network provider to issue a compensation data, as seen on the screenshot below

Now airtel Nigeria seem to grant the request of her subscribers, as a free 200mb data is given out to all the subscribers as a compensation for the internet disruption accompanied with the apology message, the message reads..
Dear Customer, We sincerely apologize for the downtime on our internet service earlier today. As a gesture of appreciation for the inconvenience you have been credited with 200MB bonus data valid for 2days.
