Instagram, a Facebook acquired social platform for image and video sharing now supports personal chat between friends(followers), this feature has been around for some while on the Instagram messenger, but only few of Instagram users knew and make use the chat feature.
Instagram as we all know is the most used social media platform by celebrities and Business firms, for sharing of actives in form of photos or video, from the unset Instagram was built for businesses and fans unlike Facebook and Co, Instagram has lots of restrictions, the restrictions am not too comfortable with is the that of embedding url, you can’t add a url link on any video or photo you share on Instagram, well, you can try to add links but that will be a waste of time because it wouldn’t be click-able, only promoted posts(posts paid for) allows insertion of link.
Recently Instagram allow users to chat with each other, yeap, you can chat with your friends(followers), and also share links via the chat with the last few releases of the Instagram app, with the chat feature you can send direct message to your followers or fans as the case may be, note, however, that to be able to send direct message you must follow or be followed by the person you wish to send a messages to.
To send direct messages to your followers on Instagram, click on the users profile, then click on the send message button, then type your message and start the conversation, simply easy, right?
